In the Beginning there was Pain!

I'm one who thinks an awful lot about posterity; about what my children will know of their father's life. Admittedly, I probably think about it too much and it often colors the reason for my actions. It is why I write everything down in notebooks, usually a Moleskine, with a date. Often times I will even write quick synopsis of where we are in life, where we are living, how I'm feeling, what I ate for lunch, even my own physical and mental health. It's freakish, I know. When I decided to start another blog, and I have started many, I thought it might serve two purposes. First, I wanted to take the opportunity to chronicle my years as a PA working in orthopedic surgery (and likely other settings). Secondly, I thought it may provide some insight into my days for those who care about me, and for those to come. There is a tertiary benefit to this project, I really do love to write and it provides quite the outlet for the constant wanderings my brain often takes. Elisabeth...
